Kitchen needs

1. Floor Cleaning :

• For Wood floor: One of the best brand we know is Bissell vacuum cleaner without bag, it costs around 15$ to 20$
• For Carpet : Some of the brands we know is Dirt devil with bag and as well as Bissell vacuum cleaner with / without bag (Bissell without bag would be small and filled frequently so it will suit more for wood floor than for carpet ).
• Broom : We can get broom for sweeping kitchen in Indian stores it will be for 2-3 $, depends upon the state rates might vary some times.

2. Dinner Sets: Many prefer corella. Price varies depend upon the no of pieces like 42 pieces set will cost around 45$.We will get wide variety of these in Wal-mart & Target and will be available for cheaper rates too.

3. Cleaning liquids:

1. 40g Bleach: For cleaning counter tops
2. Cascade : For dish washing used in dish washer
3. Dawn or Palmolive : For cleaning dishes with Hand
4. Easy off : Cleaning oven
5. Dial or Equate : Hand wash liquid
6. Magic eraser: For tough strains, this will be available in Wal-Mart

Note: All the above items are available in Wal-Mart, Sam’s club, Costco, K-mart,Target.

4. Paper Towels, Disposable plates & Glasses: Will be available in Costco as bulk and costs less if we buy in bulk.Will also available in dollar stores for lesser price.

5. Water filters and Purifying jugs: For drinking water you can buy water bottles(Poland Spring, we can filter and drink tap water itself, available filter brands in the market are Brita purifying jug(Costs around 22 to 25$) which we can keep on the dinning table, and pur and Brita ( These both can be fixed directly to the tap itself. It’s costs around 35 to 40 $) .

6. Microwave oven: The Best Brands available in the market are GE (Cost around 55 to 60$), Whirlpool (Cost around 48 to 53$), Kenmore (Costs around 80 to 90$) required capacity is 1.1 cubic.

7.Nonstick cooking sets: We will get it for 50$.Depends on the number of pieces price varies

8. Waste Clothes: Which can be used for cleaning in the kitchen we can find these in Wal-Mart.

9. Rice cooker: In small rice cooker we can cook around 6 cups of rice (will cost around 10 to 13$) depends upon company and size price varies. Cooker which cooks 12cups of rice will cost around 20 to 25$.Black decor, aroma, Panasonic are the best brands available.

10. Spoons used in non stick wear: will cost around 1.50 $ it will be available in Wal-Mart near kitchen items.

11. Vegetables and other food stuff:
Instead of good / jagery you can buy brown sugar available at Wal-mart and in other American grossary stores.Since this will not be available in Indian stores too at all the times.
Some vegetables like (capcicum,aloo,onions,Tomotos,alpinos(chillies),Okra(Ladies Finger),Cabbage,Cauliflower,brokley(Looks like Cauliflower, appearance is greenish),Spinach(Pallak),Beat Root,Carrot, Spring onions (Used in Fried rice mostly),Beans,Coriander,Zukini (We can make this curry like the way we prepare rigid guard (Beerakaya) curry.Taste will be almost same.Appearance is green),Egg plant (Brinjal),Colcacia((chamadumpa) sometimes we may find this in american stores) Squash (We can make curry of this the way we prepare bottle guard (Sorakaya) curry,appearence is yellow and taste of this curry is exactly like sorakaya taste) we can buy this in American stores.Since vegetables are bit costly in Indian stores.
We can use unsalted butter as ghee (Ofcourse not tast like exact ghee which we get in India but more or less similar).

12. Trash bags: We can get these in dollar tree for 1$ (Each packet contains around 20 bags or more).Have to pick these bags according to the size of your trash basket. Make sure that it fits exactly into your trash basket before purchasing.

13. Trash baskets: Plastic one's will cost around 4-10$.Steel one's will be around 50$ and these are available in almost all the stores.

14. Ziploc Covers: Will be available in Dollar tree (50 medium size bags will come for 1$).You can use these to store food items in freezer so that the items will be tightly packed and will not be spoiled.

15. Aluminum Foils: Used to wrap plates under electric coils of the stove and to cover stove top. Very useful, it’s always better to cover the stove top and plates with these foil to avoid stains. If anything gets spoiled in and around stove you will be fined a lot. So it is always advisable to cover the entire portion of the stove with these foils. These aluminum foils will be available in dollar tree for 1$.

16. Door mats: These also you can get in dollar tree each for 1$.If you buy these in Wal-Mart or in any other store it costs more

17. Heat Resistant Mats or Pot placers: Will be available in Dollar tree. You will get 2 for 1$.Will be very useful for placing any hot bowls.

18. Microwavable Glass bowls: Used for heating food items in microwave oven. It will cost around 50 cents each and we will get these in old time pottery for lesser price.

19. Plastic bowls set: 32 bowl set cost you around 10$. Depends on the number of pieces available in the box, price differs.
